As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
Proverbs 27:17
Our Small Groups are a great place to make new friends and build life long relationships. A small group is a regular gathering of 5-15 people who are intentionally trying to help one another follow Jesus. A small group is not separate from the church as a whole, but supports the larger gathering by giving a place where people can apply what they are learning from the preaching time, where they can get to know people on a deeper level.
In our small groups we spend time praying for and encouraging one another, building relationships, discussing the sermon, and studying the Bible. We currently have groups that meet on Sunday mornings from 9:00am-10:00am in the McKay building. Childcare is available in the children's building for your little ones.
We hope to launch home groups soon on a weekday evening, but are not quite there yet.

Description
God says that in order to “not be conformed to this world,” you must be “transformed by the renewal of
your mind” so that you may discern his will (Romans 12:2). What is the role of reason in everyday life?
How can we use critical thinking to navigate our choices? In this class, we will explore the life of the
mind by discussing ethics, principles of logic, faith and reason, divine attributes, and the nature of the
soul.
theme verse
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind,
that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:2
